DIEGO VIO and ANDREA NACCARI
After a long apprenticeship in one of Murano most famous furnaces, "Barovier & Toso", in the 1991 they established their own studio in Murano Island.
Now they have a daily production of commercial artistic glass, and some blowing session of high end experimental glassworks of the highest quality.
The focus is on a contemporary restyle of the classic Venetian glass, using new and traditional techniques. Diego and Andrea developed their own process of marbled glass finishing: including a silver in the glass they make it similar to marble and, with an oxidation process, they give gold reflexes. Than the glasswork is decorated with superimposition of opaque and polishes glass layers.
Each piece of this selection is one of a kind and features an engraved signature.
